My weigh in this week reviled that I need motivation. I am still battling a cold and it affects my cardio workouts. I struggle with asthma, I fear having an attack while working out. I can do yoga that is my favorite kind of workout. I have lacked energy and drive. I did one run on the treadmill and two small yoga routines. I have not been eating as well as I should either. Everyday life gets in the way. Birthday parties, family celebrations, there is always an excuse for choosing poor quality food. Everything in moderation; one piece of pizza and a salad instead of 3-4 pieces of pizza.

Focus on today, the here and now. Not tomorrow we aren't guarantied tomorrow. Not yesterday because its done and you can't change it.

"Super Bowl" of food

When The big game comes I know I am going to eat a lot! Did you know Super Bowl Sunday is the second largest day of food consumption. I plan accordingly; A light breakfast and nothing until game time. I consider it very much like Thanksgiving. I enjoy my mom's queso dip and chips, and the sweets. This year a friend brought Ande's chocolate cookies. Another highly consumed sweet was chocolate covered strawberries. With that in mind this past week I lost 1lbs.Working out is still really tough. My work out consisted of shoveling, building snow forts ,and snowmen. We were hit with a snow storm that produced 24-28 inches of snow. I feel my core and buns strengthening. I hope to get on the treadmill this week.

The knock out

Last Saturday January 21; I started to feel a little unusual, but not enough to stop me from pursuing the prize. It was my reward day, so David and I enjoyed a unexpected date,sushi, sake,and some much needed alone time. Who would have known what Sunday was going to bring. Starting the week off with great fellowship at church and the usual Sunday festivities, noticing symptoms of a cold coming on, I had to be committed to the workout. So instead of running I found some awesome yoga videos from Netfix. Monday morning I went down, that day I reached 103 fever. I wouldn't see the treadmill nor the light of day for several days to follow. The flu came with a hit that David or I couldn't prepare for. Seven days later I am now struggling with my back. Spending that much time in bed does not do my skeletal system any good. It may work for the immune system to get well and healthy again, but now I have to restore my core muscles to handle my everyday movements. So I miss my treadmill, but yoga and palates will have to be enough till I gain my strength back, and brave the treadmill again.
For those who are following the numbers I did weigh in on Friday January 27th the numbers are as follows.
BMI 23.01 that is down .10
Weight 146.6 that is down .7LBS
Not bad for being sick, but I have to make the best of everything, and not get down for what happens in the real world.

Week 3 Weigh In

147lbs!!! I lost 3 lbs. I am so encouraged to see some result. This week I ran 1.35 miles 6 days in a row. I am starting to loose my cravings to eat at 3pm and late night.
My eating routine is as follows.
8:30am Breakfast: oatmeal usually
10am snack: pear or apple
12:30pm Lunch: Super Green Salad and a sandwich with turkey, tomato,lettuce, one slice of cheese/ or a pita pizza with two Tbsp of pasta sauce with 100% grass fed beef, 1oz of cheese.
3:30pm 1/2cup of cottage cheese and pepper.
6pm dinner: grilled chicken with Super Green Salad.
9pm snack: oatmeal or a adult cocktail.
I can't wait to be in Mexico.

I stumbled all week with my eating but yet I persevered and worked out. So logically I maintained my weight, right? I feel good, I am looking forward to getting on the treadmill and finding time to work out and keep up with my house chores. Life is good, so here are the results.

Reward yourself

The weekends are hard. I learned several things; I must go to bed at a reasonable time, portions, and fit in the workout. Friday started with out a workout. Then it progressively became harder to fight the 3 o'clock binge. Our sweet fellowship is so sweet that we ended the day with that instead of a workout. Saturday was my day to weigh in, The good news was I lost .7lbs. I have to be honest, it wasn't the number I was looking for. Its better then gaining .7lbs. We were able to have a great workout, great eating, and then a great reward to end a well balanced day. Then there was Sunday, no workout, Chinese leftovers and fried chicken with mashed potatoes awesome corn bake, and cheese cake to top it off. This weekend wasn't at all what my husband and I would have liked in regard to fallowing our physical goal for the new year. There is always Today! Today I choose to stay in control of my weaknesses. Here is to MONDAY

The 3 O'clock Bindge

This is so much harder then I thought. I would say I have some bad eating habits, but I overall eat healthy. Yesterday I caved. I was running out of energy, and I couldn't help my self, I had to eat something, so the kettle chips had no chance of staying in the cupboard any longer. I don't feel like a total failure because I have been walking a lot and doing my exercise routine (except for yesterday). I needed coffee too, so I am having a non-fat no whip Peppermint Mocha; Thank you Starbucks. Its an everyday, every hour, every minute battle.

Groundhog's Day

I am starting over. As most of you know I have a lot of stomach issues, and this triggered an episode. Today I finally have some relief; so its a mulligan.

For the Rothe's we are a part of that 43%. In 2011 we started P90X our goal was to have beach bodies by October. Two weeks later we were defeated by our old eating habits, sleeping patterns, and life. David received 10 minute workout by Tony Horton for Christmas. The challenge is back on. We want beach bodies by June. Mexico is in the future, and I know for me I want to look smokin' for my husband on the beach with a drink in my hand and my feet in the sand. Oh and my Mexico cheese burgers! That is my reward.

Working for what?

Today is day three, we were to weigh ourselves to see the hope there is in completing a new excersize routine and eating life style.I am full of doubt and discouragement because my scale said I gained 4 pounds! I followed the routine to the "t". It is a very high possibility that our scale isn't as accurate as we thought. We weighed in three different spots, and got three diffent numbers. David's weigh in said he lost 16 pounds in two days. What the heck, how incredibly frustrating.S I have to figure something else out. I am determined to be a beach body for Mexico. Wish me luck.

We started this program with a cleanse. Lots of water, green tea, raw veggies fruit and protein shake.

Our workouts are a lot more reasonable then P90X. We do roughly 34 minute workouts a day. There is no end date, I think this will be a great way to keep fitness in our daily routine.

Holiday Hangover

Happy Holidays to all;
We had a very full week. Driving to Kansas for Christmas is always a highlight for the year. I look forward to the night that the whole Rothe family comes over. This is on the Eve of Christmas. Around dinner time you can expect a spread of unique traditions. There are many things that can't be forgotten. We rely on with great excitement the food. The award winning sugar cookies that Laura makes, she also makes this amazing "corn goop" as Janye calls it, and we can't forget her awesome meat balls. Jayne's family brings a different kind of meat ball its this Bisquick cheesy baked sausage meatball. Dad's punch and array of summer sausage with cheese and crackers are the oldest of the tradition. David and I have introduced the liquor to the punch for the adults, but we are also looking for our piece to bring. As you might recall last year we did a blue cheese plate. That was a little to out there for these south central Kansas folk. So this year I brought my awesome cinnamon rolls. Luckily Clay and Ellen brought chili to go with! It was an awesome dinner.I also look forward to the endless game night. This is one family that knows how to come together. We played Taboo till 10pm. After Christmas Eve ended and Christmas passed we enjoyed each other with more games, food, and fellowship. We played Penny Dominoes,and put puzzles together. David really likes to put puzzles together, I think I will have to keep that in mind for next year. I like dominoes and card games. This year we didn't play any card games. Food is always good when family is in town. We tried something new this trip. There is a restaurant in Wichita called Nu Way. This is a unique burger joint that takes you back to 1950. They make there burgers crumbly. It is a greasy burger joint with some AWESOME onion rings. The burger was delicious but I could have eaten more onion rings. The children had so much fun with their cousins. Quentin looks forward to spending time with the Twins. The Twins are the same age as Quentin. They are rambunctious and have good fun together. The three of them got to shoot guns for the very first time. With one retired Police Officer and one active in our family, we needed to take advantage of our resources. Clay (retired) would be a great teacher here are the photos from this great day.

Did I say I got to shoot too, I haven't ever shot a riffle before this was my experience. Fear and power in one shot, I look so comfortable, don't I? I will stick to the 12 gauge shotgun, I hit my targets with that. Later in the week we went to the nature center which had a lot of interactive things for the kids to do. We fed the geese, there were a few ducks that got in on the action. Two of the ducks stood out to me. One was white with a few brown feathers. The other one was mostly brown like a typical duck but its tail feathers were a metallic blue with the opposing green, making it look teal. It was really pretty. Enough about birds, our overall trip was relaxing, and peaceful. We needed to come home before the New Year, so Quentin could be with his dad. I also needed to get back to the salon. We rang in the New Year with two of my favorite people, Amy and Andrew. To be apart of the Rothe festivities on New Years Eve in spirit we played games.

Dicecapades,is a game with a endless amount of dice. There is trivia, math, balancing a number of dice on top of each other and so much more. The other game we played could have ended with one of us peeing on the floor, but luckily it didn't forshizzle

Quelf is a hilarious land with characters that will have you rolling. We laughed so hard with this game, highly recommended for peers not for a dinner party with your boss and his wife.

Well here is to 2012, I hope you all choose to see today as an opportunity to make life worth living tomorrow. I have many things that I want to resolute, but I am going to take it one day at a time. Follow David and I as we start of the year with a new way of living.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We enjoyed this amazingly moist turkey. It was rich with flavor and oh so delicious. Quentin got to do a lot of traveling in November. He got to go to Florida with his dad. He also go to go to Las Vegas, Nevada with us to celebrate Thanksgiving with NeNe and Pappy.Here are some of our fall pictures. This was around Halloween but I don't think I shared them with the last post. Ezra really liked jumping into the leaves. The fallowing pictures are from the Hoover Dam. It was everyone's first time there, it was neat and HOT. They built a new bridge to drive over, but it was so busy that we weren't able to drive over it.

December is going to be full of lots of things. I am in my very first Broadway-style Musical called "One Bethlehem Night" we open December 10th. Then we are going to be getting ready for Christmas. I love this time of year and Colorado's weather has made the season bright. We go a decent snow storm on December 1st and its been snowing every couple of days sense then. While we were visiting Pappy he introduced the boys to the awesomely addicting game Angry Birds. This has now lead to the addition of an iPad to the Christmas list. Ezra loves that game. When it warms outside we also love the thrill of sledding. Saturday the 3rd of December we got some more snow and went to the hill for some fluffy powder. Ezra wasn't to sure if he liked all that powder in the face. We went down a few times and then needed to warm up before we braved the mall for some Birthday shopping.

Back To School

Quentin is in the 5th Grade! This is going to be a good year. He is going to grow and learn a lot. He has a great teacher who is very strict and organized. She has high expectations for the children in her class, I like her. Quentin isn't on the same page YET. I have a feeling he is going to love her and be very thankful to have her as a teacher. Quentin has picked up the flute and is in the school band. He also is continuing his baseball through the fall. He tried out for a much more competitive league for spring we haven't heard yet if he made the team. We will let you know as soon as we hear. He is going to be very busy this school year.
Ezra is loving pre-school he has made friends and is learning how to use a marker to draw himself and write. He does lots of squiggly lines. He loves to do homework with Buddy. He is very studious. He is exhausted when he gets home from school. We have a set routine for our weekday so we can stay disciplined. Ezra has taken a short break from swimming, I hope to get him signed up when the snow starts to fall. It will give us a reason to get out of the house.

Summer wrap-up

We did so much this summer.Swimming, reading, camping, sleepovers, birthday parties, family visits. Wow some really good stuff. It really went by so fast we couldn't possibly fit in all that I would have liked to do. Eliche's was missed and Water World would be nice right about now!Its Hot! The beginning of the summer we had a strong monsoon that didn't allow much out side time, It rained for about 3 weeks, and didn't really get above 90 degrees. Were as today it was 90 by 11am and so far this summer its been above 90 degrees 40 plus days. That's just too hot, if you ask me. So we did some indoor swimming this summer. Ezra was in swimming lessons for the first part of the summer 5 days a week and then every Saturday for the last part of the summer. I would like Ezra to be more independent in the water by next year, because the "whole" Hoss family is going to Mexico for some over due R&R. It would be also beneficial for him to be a great swimmer because Grandma Boni has a pool in her yard. We didn't put that to much use this summer either, what is wrong with me?:)

Reading was a large part of our summer to. Some of our favorite books we read are: Cowlick by Christin Dichfield, Duck! Rabbit! by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, Wombat Walkabout by Carol Shields There Are Cats in This Book by Vivian Schwarz and Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry Allard is always a favorite of mine.
We are going to bring home a new book today for all the reading we did this summer. Here are some random photos fum all our summer fun. I hope you enjoyed the summer.

Fist day of School

Were has the time gone? I always say "out the window". My boys are growing up fast. Quentin is now in the 5th grade! He is going to be learning all the "fun" stuff this year. Hormones are changing and he is already having innocent crushes on girls. O boy! I think he is doing good so far. Two days into it.
Ezra had a wonderful first day, He had a hard time deciding what to wear. He changed his out fit to look more like Buddy. He usually changes his out fit at least twice a day. He is so excited to be a "big boy". I think he looks like he is ready. I got a little teary when I picked him up yesterday. He just seemed so independent. I am not sad, but so proud!
We will keep you updated on all the great things we are doing this fall. Just a little tease we will have Baseball and hopefully more swimming.

Who am I?

Do you ever ask this question? Or better yet, when was the last time you asked this question? I have wrestled this question a lot lately. I know the obvious; I am Rose Mary’s Granddaughter.

But what do I stand for, what do I do, does it matter, will I be remembered and what will people say about me when I am gone?

I recently turned 31….. YIKES!! For those of you older and mature reading this just read on as I let it out. It came upon me like a ton of bricks the other night as I was having a very casual conversation with a friend of mine. We were discussing how she needed to get in the baby making train because time is running out.

I had my first child at 20 I thought I had forever to continue to have children if I so desired. When close friends of mine are just now starting their families, and David and I are at the stage of deciding that our family is just the right size for us, with a 10year old and a now 3 year old.

I feel like the mature one when friends are coming to me for advice on raising children or pregnancy symptoms. Where did the time go?

My sister turned 18 this year.

When she was born I would calculate the milestones of her life. We are 13 years and 5 days apart. I was graduating high school when she started school. I was 27 when she started high school, and so on.

Now that it is really here it is surreal to me. I don't feel 31 I feel like I should still be in my 20's. I like coloring my hair, (duh I'm a hairstylist) I am having fun with my pink hair. I like tattoos I have 5. I like to shop at Forever 21 and Charolette Russe. This is the problem I don't have the body of a 20 yrld, I have had two kids. I walk through these stores and try on dresses, pants and tops I think are cute, I walk out in tears because they don't fit the way it should and I'm a size that matches closer to my age then my shoe size. I HATE SHOPPING!! I go to the pool and I see moms and I think "is that what I look like?" I have major image issues. I am asking my self "am I acting immature for my age because I can't accept my age?" Am I one of those women on Maury Povich that their kids are embarrassed to be seen with them because they don't dress their age or their body type? The hope I have is JESUS! Thank you GOD, Genesis 1:27 (NIV) ²⁷ So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. I am considering the following scriptures to inspire me as I live through my 30’s. First I would like to share my most special scriptures.

In my yearly 20's I chose a rougher way of life, and in 2003 my God saw me in need and ready for his love. I celebrate now my freedom because Jesus died for me.

Every couple of years I get tattooed and it reminds me of milestones in my life. This one is what the Cross means to me. I needed peace when divorce entered my life again. I need patience when my anxiety takes over me. The long suffering my Lord endured is NOTHING compared to the pain I have gone through. These symbols on my wrist will help me remember that. This summer has been filled with so much! I really hope the kids are enjoying what we have been doing. Quentin and I made a list at the beginning of all the things he wanted to do. This included sleepovers, Water World, Eleches', Shopping, Camping. David and I have the expectation of LOTS of summer reading.We have checked off 2 sleepovers. this is an especially challenging task because we don't have Quentin on the weekends. so to plan a sleep over during the week isn't ideal for some parents. We need to take on Water World, we went in June but was only able to do one ride :(( it was so busy we waited in line for a ride for 30minutes) I must say that "Voyage to the Center of the Earth" was pretty awesome this year. it has been repaired so all the sense were working and very detailed. Ezra was freezing and refused to get in the water after that so we had to go home. Eleches' is a place I'm not really looking forward to going because Ezra isn't big enough yet for any of the rides. I am going to plan this for a day Quentin and I to go and enjoy some much needed bonding. My sister introduced me to an awesome new store Tilly's. I happen to find one at the Orchard Town Center. I thought Quentin would really like this store, because he is into Skating its seems to have a much larger collection of clothes for all ages. I liked it because it helps us compromise on Q's clothing choice. We went shopping shortly after, and he LOVED it! Yeah its pricey but it makes Quentin look cool and I think he looks sharp and handsome. He is going to be earning a lot of money this summer to buy some new threads. He bought some white short that look really nice fore school but not for our annual camping trip. The Forth of July weekend is our traditional camping trip. We usually go up Guanella Pass near Baily, Co. This year we tried a new campground Horseshoe Campground this is located near South Park, Co. Very pretty up there but we had a MAJOR hang up. There was a fire ban put in place 2 days before we got there. :( someone tell me how to cook food with out fire? I spent the whole week making our food. And I was lucky enough to find a Dutch Oven for $20 at the Goodwill. It was completely useless because we couldn't have a fire. We made it work the best we could, but a lot of things just didn't make it. The Boys took on a 14ner. Us mamas stayed behind to watch the lil ones. Some beautiful pictures came back to camp. Then the following day we did a family hike with three other couples that go camping with us. We didn't make summit because we had Kyra 2 1/2 year old Ezra 3, Hunter 4, and Mandy 7months pregnant. I couldn't believe there was still snow up there. We had a good time overall.

I vote to go back to Guanella Pass next year. I just like to stick with what we know. Like Mexico I only want to go to Paradise its my home away from home. If it aint broke don't fix it. All thats left this summer is more Sleepovers trips to Water World and Eleches', Jump Street, Wildlife Experience, and Reading.

We have been going to the Library every Tuesday to check out books for Ezra and Quentin. Quentin is reading "How to Steal a Dog" It might take him all summer cause he likes to watch t.v. and play legos. Ezra has been reading A LOT of books. we check out 3 at a time. some of our favorites so far are.Duck! Rabbit! by Amy Kroose Rosenthal, "Very Hairy Bear" by Alice Schertle. The illustrations are awesome, I really liked this book. Finally "No! That's Wrong" by Zhaohua Ji. We are taking part in the library's reading program to win a new book!

This July is filled with Birthdays and a Anniversary. My mama's is at the begining, then mine, then my sister's. David and I are celebrating 7 years of marriage. Crazy huh; David is also going to get the results of the CFA Exam. David has had a pretty exciting summer career wise in my opinion. David has been elevated to the position of Manager of Finance/Strategic Initiatives. David will assume all financial responsibilities for the Sales Solutions program and continue to lead our spoils reduction initiative. I'm so proud! Things seem to be falling into place for a prosperous year. I hope youre enjoying your summer.

Summer time is my favorite. There is so much fun to be had. Quentin was released from school on May31st with baseball coming to a close (there is still the All Star League) We are gathering ideas and making a list of all the adventure we want to experience.

The Stars stats were not good. They lost every game they played and won two that the other team failed to show up for. It was a great time to meet new kids and make some new friends. I hope to see more of these kids this summer. With the All Star League tryouts on June 17th I don't know exactly how the planning of all our fun adventures is really going to look like. We closed the regular baseball season with a heaping helping of Ci Ci's Pizza and a welcomed visit by Nana, Papa and Alex. We for see a much needed trip to Water World and more trips to Grandma's Pool. Ezra will be taking swimming lessons for two straight weeks.

He bought some new swim gear this summer thanks to Pappy! Toy Story 3!! Swim trunks, towel, shoes, sunglasses, goggles, and shirt oh my. The Disney store will do that to any kid right? needless to say he sure is excited for the water.

As a partial family we went to Casa Bonita!! What a great time we had. Ezra LOVED IT. He would go there weekly if I let him. The magic, the cliff divers, the mariachi bands, and the arcade we collected tickets so he brought home a dinosaur, Sponge Bob tattoos, bouncy balls, what more could a kid ask for.

We are planning our traditional camping trip for the 4th of July weekend. I am SO looking forward to this!!! July's blog should be full of lots of goodies.

Feeling like Home

Good grief are we done yet?! This has been a very challenging project for David and I. Sense the beginning I have felt that this house was a temporary home. For two reasons this purchase was suppose to be for investment and only for a couple of years. One reason was the price was too good to pass up. we could do the "little" work it needed and sell it shortly after for a prophet. Two was spiritually: Luke 12:15 (New International Version 1984, ©1984)¹⁵ Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” Matthew 19:21 (New International Version 1984, ©1984) ²¹ Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
I have learned from my youth to live with the minimal as though this is not my home; heaven is where I store my possessions. However Ecclesiastes 5:19 (New International Version 1984, ©1984)¹⁹ Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God.

This also prompted some spring cleaning. I am so glad to only have what is needed and move on from what is not needed.

David would think I am the opposite of a hoarder. So much so that I need to remember its ok to hold on to some things cause it might come back to good use. Like my clothes I tend to purge all my clothes..

I have the ability to enjoy this home. I want to share my home with others. So after nearly 6 years we are finally making this our home. I hope to serve you and your family. I feel content and comfortable with what God has blessed us with.

New Assignment

Hello April what would spring be without some "new". "David has accepted the position of Manager – Shrink and Contract Agreements. David is now part of the Strategic Initiatives Team and will have direct responsibility for both warehouse and customer spoils improvements." courtesy of Donna Robbins @DPI. I don't think that David has had a job that is easy to explain. This is going to be good for our family. It has allowed even more reason for me to be at home with our boys. Which I love by the way. We are also wrapping up the final steps of our basement project. I hope that we will have a complete furnished basement in time for Ezra turning 3. I am ready to have my house back.

New is what this month should be themed. We decided to do new floors in the basement. Do you know what that was going to take? We sure didn't. Look at this:

Our floors where un-level to as far as 3.5" yikes. We had concrete slabs that were rocking back and forth as you stepped on them, slabs that were lifting; it was crazy.

We decided to build in the shower. I thought building shower walls would be cheaper then buying a whole new neo angle shower glass shower door that was originally there. They are expensive!

The playroom has moved into the garage and the boys room. These are all the toys left and I ain't lifting the hammer..

These are the beams that will help keep the the concrete organized. This was step one.

Step two, a concrete truck in the front yard; that was interesting.

Skim coat was done to make it all uniform.

So all that is left to be done:
1. Carpet (might as well replace the carpet upstairs while we're at it)

Aside from all this chaos Quentin is doing baseball this year and is looking promising as one of five pitchers for the team. He needs to condition and control his trowing arm, but he is doing great!!

Hello Friends and Family;
I am eager to share with you this months highlights! To start off this month Quentin is now a "PRE-TEEN". Oh boy and he is full of it already. It took like a week for the Teenitous to kick into full gear. We celebrated Quentin turning 10 buy sharing it with Super Bowl Sunday. Poor kid has to battle that day every year. Me and David got him a awesome gift. however it hasn't been delivered. Quentin probably thinks we are lame parents and didn't get him anything. We talked about either doing a Party or a big gift. we did the big gift, we just need it to get here.
I have been having online purchase issues this month. Not only is Toys R Us about to get black listed from me. But New York and Company is not getting business from me! My awesome mother got me a gift card for NY&C and I was excited to spend it. It usually takes me a day before I spend my whole card. I got a coupon along with the gift card. this encouraged me to wait till the second week in January to spend it. So I did a lot of prep work. I looked for days and put things on my wish list and when the time came for me to actually use the coupon and my gift card I was thrilled to be getting a purple V neck sweater and a black down casual coat. Well 5 to 7 business days later my purple V neck sweater arrived. My black down casual coat didn't come. I was as expected disappointed.; so I reviewed my receipt and sure enough I wasn't charged for the coat, so I went to purchase something else, but much to my surprise I had no dollars left on my card, how could that be if I only got one of the two items I purchased . So I called customer service; she reassured me that the amount would eventually come back onto my gift card within a few days.I was patient and waited a week. I then called back customer service on hold for 2 hours. I felt like Pheobe from Friends when she spent two days on a straight hold. "Please stay on the line, your call is very important to us.. You ARE the next caller". I could only handle being on hold for 30minutes at a time. so 4 days later I waved my white flag. I was so ferrous because I never got a chance to talk to any one and i did everything possible I even called other 1 800 numbers to see if someone could help me. Not a single person not even management could help me. I am a very unsatisfied customer.
I am having a great time being at home taking care of my boys and doing hair out of my home studio. Being home Ezra has lost all boundaries. We are kind of starting over getting him on a good sleep schedule, potty training again, and getting him to eat. Quentin is doing better in school now that I'm home and can follow up on homework assignments. He had received some really cool recognitions. One of the teachers that doesn't teach his class,nor really has little to do with his education, other words I don't know who she is, any way she sent a card to Quentin acknowledging that he is a great leader." You are a good influence to your classmates". this was a awesome thing to see not just for Quentin, but for me as a parent. You never know if they are the same kid at school as they are at home.
I think I have bragged enough about my February, hope yours is going well. We miss you all hope to hear from you soon.

I have completed my first week as a self employed/ stay at home mom. Business is off to a good start. There seems to be plenty of hours in the day for me to get what I want done, I have found project for me to start and complete. I spent most of last week home monitoring the remodel of our Upstairs Bath.

Then I organized the boys play room. I figured out how my "Knifty Knitter" works so I made three scarves. I have gotten lots of input that I should pace myself and not take on too much too soon, or I will find myself overwhelmed. With that in mind this week I filled Monday with activities Tuesday with errands. Its Wednesday and I just wanted to stay home. So finding that happy medium, will be a trial and error. I look forward to cooking; crafts hobbies, making my home and building my business.

Do I still have a Blog? I guess I do. I'm sorry to my friends and family who are left in the dark.
So let's see July:
July 4th we spent as a family. We went to Dave's office and watched the Arvada show and made one of our own. Good time in the pouring rain.
I chose to become an American Board Certified Haircolorist. I studied real hard for about three weeks and took the test over the July 14th weekend. About a week later I received my packet of graded and reviewed tests. I am proud to say that I am now an American Board Certified Haircolorist. This doesn't mean that I wasn't able to do color before, but means that I am among an elite group of knowledgeable colorist.
Then also that weekend David and I celebrated 6years of marriage and had my 29th Birthday party. Oh and then the following weekend I turned 30! Wow I have left the 20's and am officially ........... mature. This is hard.for me to reconcile with so I am just going to pretend I'm 29. Well then the 26th came and the month was going so well it had to be balanced with a little downer. David didn't pass level 2 of the CFA exam. So wile we are coaping with that we are striving to pursue our dreams and really k,now what we want to do when we grow up.

We had a great time May 9,2010 It was Mothers Day and we celebrated Ezra's second Birthday. After a rainy/snowy couple of days we didn't know if we were going to be able to have a pool party. But it turned out to be a perfect day. Not a lot of swimming, but there was some. The thing that made me laugh the most was when Jamie arrived with the cake. It was a blue train with red trim and yellow accents. I don't know why I don't have a photo.. Anyway, we set it on the table where Ezra could see. He loved it; not because he likes trains but because it was nummies and cake. He wanted to eat it up right then, of coarse you can't eat a birthday cake until everyone has arrived and you've sang "Happy Birthday". It also depends on if you going to have lunch during the party. Which in fact we had a barbecue. So here is my point:
Lets us set a yummy cake in front of a two year old and stare at it until you have eaten all your lunch and then we have to wait some more because you need to open all your presents, and by open I mean take them out of their pretty decorated covers, then you can't play with them because there is more presents to open. So you can look but don't touch.
How fun is that? He did well he likes all his gifts, it just reminds me that kids are simple and we don't need to over do anything.

Dear Friends and Family;

Sorry I have been so busy to update our latest news. In all honesty nothing is new. We like the rest of America spend to much time working and not enough time as a family. I have a new schedule at work that will be great once I get in the routine. Cause I can't function till I am in my routine. I have been doing a lot more hair at home. I am trying to grow my business there, so feel free to call I would love to see you in my chair.
David is studding real hard for his test this Saturday the 5th of December.This is the first of a three part series of test to become a Certified Charter Financial Analyst. Please pray for him, this is a challenging time for him and he is doing really well, as far a juggling family and leading our small group Bible Studies. i am proud of him and I believe he deserves to do what he loves.
Quentin is doing well in Basketball this season. Still learning the rules of the game, and how to control the ball in his space. He is doing well in school too. He needs practice in his writing skills, so keep a look out he will be sending you letters in the mail. He is also keeping a journal, to enhance his writing. In his free time he is Playing Legos or the WII.
Ezra is becoming a toddler. He is becoming determined to get what he wants and letting you know when you tell him "No". He is a lot of fun. He is very silly, He has made some names for his special things, and we don't have an explanation for them either. Example; blanket is his "money". A lot of things are "Tee" such as teeth when he wants to brush his teeth. Also this could mean I want a "Drink". "Eee" means he is hungry and wants to eat. We love to watch him learn, he is so much fun.

Ok so it been like two months sense we last visited. I have been so busy. It is such a lame excuse, but it is really true. I have been trying to build my business. David has a new project that can basically be summed up as the final year of his bachelor degree. He is trying to study at least 20hrs a week, work full-time and be a father. This has put me in a similar state, where I am working at home with the kids two days a week, and building a business outside of the home 35hrs a week. I haven’t taken any pictures really.
The only thing that has been exciting to me is that we have had our first snow already. As most of you know I am a lover of meteorology. I follow the weather pretty closely, and for this year I am feeling it’s going to be a winter we haven’t seen in years. It’s going to be wetter and colder than usual. I have also been praying for this setup for the past 2 years. So that’s it my friends, we are kind of boring I know. Hopefully we will have something to share soon.

David and I have just returned home from a well over due 7 day vacation in Mexico, ALONE! We have had this planned for a few months and the anticipation grew every day. Wow what a rush! Ezra's first Christmas and New Years celebration. So much happened during the holiday I hope I can remember it all. This Christmas was very nice, we spent it with my mom, Renee and Logan. It was very intimate, I enjoyed the time with my siblings. It was really great to see them engaged in what the whole family was doing.

Ezra was very entertaining, opening his gifts was all he had the energy for. The sound of crinkling paper is his favorite sound I think. He played in his new saucer for Grandma's house while eating bananas; his favorite food.

The trip out to Kansas was unusual; we get stuck either on the was out or the way back. This time we made it with clear skies. I could see every star in sky. I found O'ryan and that's about all I could see in the car moving in one direction.

Ezra has gotten his first tooth. When I got him from bed this morning I checked to see if the bottom tooth had finally arived. We are very excited the he is growing up. When I checked again at 10:30 I found another tooth. He has one on top that has cut through too.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Rothe family; we spent our holiday in California. This was my first Thanksgiving to spend with my Dad. It was also my very first Thanksgiving dinner that I prepared. I must say it was a success. We started out by visiting Ventura beach. It was a lot colder then expected, but we managed. We knew that we were going to hit one of the amusement parks assuming it was going to be Disneyland.

Well it was Disneyland; for our Christmas gift my dad and his girlfriend, Sharon made us a basket full of Disney stuff and admission tickets. We chose to go Monday and start off our vacation right. When you go to Disneyland you must start it off with the proper breakfast. Fresh baked cinnamon rolls the size of your head. There was so much to do in only a short time. Unfortunately we didn’t realize that Ezra could have joined us on a lot of the rides till it was too late. He was however able to join us for two rides till he went on sensory over load. My dad and Sharon met up with us for dinner and took Ezra back to their home. David and I along with Quentin journeyed on to explore the rest of the park. It was the place where dreams come true.

Tuesday was a day for some R and R which is California’s way of saying ‘it’s too crappy to do anything outside.” I was looking forward to this week of laziness and not feeling rushed to do anything. By Wednesday David had enough hanging around, so he and Quentin went to the Griffith Observatory. Ezra and I were coming down with a cold. We stayed behind and tried to get some rest. By the evening, my Grandpa Ken had joined us. It was time to get all the preparation for Thanksgiving.
Thursday was a great day; everyone helped with dinner, and football was enjoyed. Everything turned out just right except my dinner rolls. For some reason they didn’t rise. We had dinner crouton instead, no really we had a backup, thank goodness. I was really happy every one enjoyed it California style.

Quentin had his twin Quaden (I don’t know if the spelling is right I apologize) come and play for the remainder of the trip. The real trip about this was how much these two have in common. Quaden’s birthday is February 2nd and Quentin’s is February 6th. There names obviously are very similar, that was fun when we were trying to get one of them to pay attention. They wore the same clothes the whole time too, that was Sharon’s idea.

The whole family showed up on Saturday for my dad’s 55th birthday party. It was good to see everyone. I hadn’t met my niece and nephew yet, they are 3 and 2. I met Kim; Sharon’s daughter who was in love with Ezra. David met everyone for the first time. I’m talking about my step-family; this includes my step brother Michael and step-sister Christina. It was good to see all of them on a happier note. The next time we hope to plan a camping road trip.

Wow Ezra is already a half a year old. Where has the time gone. He is growing so much, and learning so much. He is very vocal and happy. He has been such a great baby so far, David and I are really blessed!
Here are some of the things we have been doing this past month.
Eating this is something Ezra has got down. There is no struggle here.

Playing is great fun; Ezra’s favorite thing right now is jumping. He loves to jump. One day I walked into the daycare to pick him up for the day and he was in a jumper thing that is called a jumperoo. This was the funniest thing I had ever seen. He was going to town; I couldn’t stop laughing at him. He thought he must have been pretty entertaining because; if I looked away he would stop. Then when I looked back at him he would start jumping all over. He had the biggest smile on his face. I let him play for about 15 minutes. He slept the whole way home.

He is really progressed in sitting. He can sit by himself now, but I put the boppy behind him just in case he gets too excited and throws his weight and falls back. He is getting really strong arm muscles too, I think he will be on track to becoming mobile in the next three months or so.

Halloween was typical holiday fun. I had a hard time trying to come up with a theme costume for the family. We ended up going with Jelly Bellies. I was Pink Lemonade, David was Popcorn, Quentin was Skunk Spray, and Ezra was Very Cherry Cola. I took Q out for the first round of trick or treating. He changed his costume to Ghost Face for that, we learned that masks are no fun. He fell off of a porch and banged up his leg and knee pretty good. We came home after an hour I think. Got cleaned up and changed back into Skunk Spray, to finish the night out with David. It was a great success of trick or treating. He had a homework assignment that was fun because it allowed him to count all of his candy and sort it out by type. He followed that by watching the Simpsons Tree House of Horror all four of them that we have on DVD, and eating as much candy as he wanted.

Quentin is loosing his teeth!!! We thought he should be a jack o’ lantern for Halloween. He really is excited that the tooth fairy has been breaking into our house and steeling his teeth. David and I are setting traps all around the house to prevent these break-ins. Someone has got to stop this crazy woman that is obsessed with teeth. It is a real disgusting thing to collect.

The other thing Quentin has been really growing in is his reading. We are still going to the library every three weeks and checking out books. I am really enjoying this time with Quentin because reading was such a struggle for me growing up. I don’t want him to struggle with it like I did. David loves to read and has a large passion to learn. And because of that, I am eager for Quentin to love reading. Goosebumps are the books that he has been choosing lately. Last month we read “The Ghost Next Door”. This month we are reading “The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight”.
I have heard a lot about a book called “The Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. I was at my mom’s house the week I heard about it and I saw it on the bar. I picked it up and started reading it; it seems to be really funny. I got so excited about it that I had David look for it at the library. There is a wait list for this book. It is very popular, I guess. So that is on my list of books to read next year.

A Quentin Update.

Here is Quentin's second Grade photo. He is doing really well right now. We are currently reading "Goosebumps, The Goast Next Door" by R.L. Stine. He is growing and healthy, just like normal boys his age. He is very social in school this is causing some learning struggles, but nothing unusual. He is very smart and very helpful.
He had to say good by to a dear friend last week, Jet our dog. We found a new home for him. This was a hard disision to make, but the best one for all who were involved. Quentin has a lot more free time now, and can spend time playing with neibors like a kid should.

Ezra is eating rice cereal now! He loves it. At Logan's football game was the first attempt for cereal. He ate perfectly, then on sunday he had 3 servings, today he had 4. He is eating great, I can't believe how blessed we are.

Good grief it has been really hard to update this thing. I know so many people out there are holding their breath to know what’s going to happen next in the Rothe home. Well let me tell you, August has been really busy. Quentin started the second grade and so far so good. We have a goal for him to receive a yellow ticket each week for the month of September. He is on track so far, I am very proud of him. We have also gotten really good about reading every night. We are currently reading "Superfudge" by Judy Blume. I am really enjoying our story time.
Ezra is growing like crazy. I would say he is over 16 pounds and near 24 inches long. He was rolling over again from tummy to his back. Other mile stones are his teeth, I believe he officially has started teething. Today was rough; I was unable to lay him on his back. I had to hold him all night untill he fell asleep. I was able to give him a bath. He loves bath time!

I personally have experienced a roller coaster of a month. My emotions as expected are all over the place. I experience a quiet time two weeks ago that I felt God was speaking to me. He revealed to me Psalm 25:20" Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you." Psalm 18:30 "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him." Psalm 18:2 "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." I believe I need to take refuge in my God. The other thing is that I have been doing some character studies with my little sister. This has been good for me to remember the challenges I went through as a teen and how I can be more supportive and loving towards her.
I have been in this funk sense I went back to work for maternity leave. My back is really unstable again. I get really frustrated and emotional because I am young but my body is acting really old. I have never been able to run, because of either my asthma or my back. I have a dream to participate in our annual Hope run this year.
This week I started acupuncture, I am not very familiar how it works but I have had a lot of clients swear by it. It was something I had not tried yet and am willing to do anything at this point. Pray for my back to become strong and not to spasm any more. I am praying that this will heal me. Other then my back I am doing pretty good I think. My back really gets me down so I hope I will have more clarity in my life after I get well.

Trip to Kansas

Wow the month has gotten away from me. I have been really busy this month. We begin this month with a trip to Hutchinson, Kansas. This was our first road trip with Ezra. He traveled really well, he had a time of crying. Over all I think he is a great traveler. We left a little later then planned, but it worked out for the best. Because we were traveling for only a few hours of Ezra's awake time. He slept great in the car after 7pm.

The reason for this trip was David's 10 year high school reunion. This was very exciting, I wanted to see these people that David talks about when ever we go back to Hutch. It would be nice to see the face to all the stories. All though Jamie has to do with 90% of the stories he tells me. The T-shirt made the whole reunion worth it.

Alex (our 3 year old neice) was so eager to see her baby Ezra. She waited patiently for us to arrive in the late night. She was so thrilled when he arrived, that thrill quickly died when she relized how big he was. He wasn't as little as he was when she first saw him. She could barely hold him. Grandma and Grandpa have those pictures. Quentin hung out with Alex a lot. I think Quentin is a great big brother, because he is so patient and has a very nurturing quality about him. There was no one his age to play with, but he still took the time to play with Alex and didn't complain about it once.

We got to visit Grandma and Grandpa's house that they lived in for 30 some years. I wanted to get some pictures of Ezra on the "stairs" and on the same carpet his daddy layed on when he was a baby.

On our way home we stopped in Lyons, Kansas to visit Rem and Kelly Dalke, who weren't able to attend the reunion. Rem is a good friend of David's and I hadn't gotten to meet him yet. Rem and Kelly had just moved back to Kansas from Texsas. They had just recently had a baby boy named Kale a little before David and I had Ezra. Kale and Ezra got along just great.

Busy! Busy! Busy!
July is filled with lot of great things. You all know we went camping on the 4th of July, so no need to reiterate. My mom’s birthday was on the 9th of July so that following Sunday we celebrated at her house with a pool party. This was Ezra’s first time in the pool. I took a few pictures with a disposable camera so pictures will be coming soon. He was great, not really sure what he thought of the pool, but I’m sure it felt good, we have been in some intense heat this month.
David and I just celebrated 4 great years of marriage on the 17th of July. It was great to reminisce the day we took each other for life. We spent Saturday night at a great restaurant for dinner then had time in prayer at a park near our church. It was awesome for me, because I am such a romantic. I love to have that intense preparation for time with my husband. It makes it so much more special for me. I never realized what a romantic I was. I have been reading a book called “Captivating” by John and Stasi Eldredge. This is a great insight to the woman’s mind. I am learning about all the things I use to see in my self but hid them away to avoid vulnerability.
It was also my birthday this past Monday. I was treated on Sunday to a tea party with my three closest friends. It was the first time all four of us were together in the same state in three years. That was Amy and Andrew's wedding in August of 2006. Spending time with them made me feel young again. We shared things that were going on in our life and how we are all married and having babies. I love them so much.
On the 31st of July we will be heading back home to Kansas for David's 10 Year reunion. This will be a whole new post on its own. I am having such a difficult time with the fact that I am two years away from 30 and attending my 10 year the following weekend. YIKES!

Ezra Update

At Ezra's two-month check up he weighed in at 13 pounds and 1 ounce! Measuring at 23 ¾” inches long. He got five vaccinations and one last belly ruben check. He did not like getting all of those pricks but he was a strong boy and survived. He is looking fantastic. He has been sleeping through the night now for a week and a half. Eating is not a problem for Ezra. I have been successful with nursing him. This was a concern at first, because I struggled so much with Quentin. It was just an awful experience.

We did discover some very unfortunate news that week. Ezra has the genetic predisposition of type1 diabetes. This means that he has a 1 and 7 chance of being diagnosed by the time he is 8- 15 years of age. I want to try and look at all the positive in this situation. I am eager to have Ezra take part in the TEDDY Study (www.TEDDYColorado.org). I pray that if he does end up with this disease that he will make a difference. Whether that being we find a cure for diabetes, or we find ways to prevent diabetes in our youth. Please keep Ezra in your prayers as we approach this new challenge in his life. We will keep you informed of the latest as we start the process on August 5th.

Already, our baby is two months old. smiles and giggles is what fills this blog. This month I went back to work. Day one was really hard I cried, I really tried to keep it together. I knew Ezra was going to be in good hands, but I just wanted to spend all day with him. I love holding him, even when he is crying and screaming in my ear. I can't explain the feelings I have when I hold him. I know there is a bond between a mother and her child that only the two of them can understand. Those feelings where so overwhelming when I gave him over to Mrs Patty.
Mrs. Patty is an amazing woman who dreamed of having an infant center at the Day care that she has been working at for over 13 years. She got her wish two years ago. She cared for Quentin when he was a toddler. I trust her completely, she is great and loves babies. Seeing her smile every time I come in to drop him off is very comforting. Ezra is adored at his day care. I have the freedom as well to come in on my lunches to feed him and I can call as much as I want to see how he is doing through out the day.
Ezra is eating so much, he eats about 5 oz every three hours. At Ezra's one month check up he weighed in at 10 pounds 3 ounces. He has another check up the first week of July. So when we find out his new measurements I will post them. We are guessing he is over 12 pounds right now and roughly 23 inches long.
Fathers day was great fun for David. Although he didn't get a play station 3 I believe he was encouraged. We did get new appliances for our kitchen. It is looking a lot better, but it needs more work. I created a collage of colors and placed Ezra's foot in the center. He has hung the picture in his office at work. We had an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I have had a thing for ice cream lately, I don't know what that is all about.
Well that is all there is to the month of June, stay tuned and I will hopefully have more to post in July, there is a lot going on then.

May was filled with so much good stuff; it’s been a little overwhelming. Ezra is now one month old and full of new surprises everyday. After David’s graduation we had my dad come out to meet his second grandson. The weekend was jammed packed. With shopping, dinners, and sight seeing. We started the weekend off with helping out with our house church’s Hope Garage Sale. This was Ezra’s official outing. He was great for business he sold many things. The sale was a great success with or with out Ezra. We meet my Dad after the sale for lunch.
We hung out for a few hours talking about Ezra of course, and then we ventured out to the mall. I needed to get out and see the world. We attempted many times to do things sooner but I had a relapse on my sciatica back issue. This has been a real thorn in my side, trying to take care of a new born and not having the mobility. I struggled a little while at the mall, but it felt so good to get out in there. To close out the evening we met my Aunt and Uncle for dinner at the White Fence Farm.
Ezra finally made it to church that Sunday. It was a small house church service led by Wes; his lesson was on gratitude. Ezra also meet his new friend Esai. That afternoon, we took my dad and Sharon down town and showed them the 16th Street mall. We met Quentin down there after his weekend with his dad. I was exhausted when it was all done! I can’t imagine how tired Ezra was.
With all that was happening Quentin has been a trooper, so we felt he had deserved something to show our appreciation. Guitar hero has taken over my house! We are now living like rock stars over here. Every night there is a performance and it could end with someone getting booed off stage or with an encore.

In the first week of Ezra's life, we have been busy. With David's mom and dad here we were able to hang some closet doors for Quentin's room. We have been trying to get on a schedule most of all. So far I don't know where we are at. I don't know what day of the week it is, it’s all blending together.
Friday afternoon we were able to go home. Saturday we had to go to the doctors, because Ezra is jaundice, his levels were high when we were discharged, and they allowed us to go home, on the account that we went to the doctors. Result of that test his levels were still high, but not high enough to do lamp treatment. We are hoping that he will rid it on his own. We had to go in on Monday to check his level again, and to meet his actual pediatrician. Sunday David's dad when back to Kansas and David kept busy by mowing the lawn and doing things around the house. He is crazy; with all that he has going on. Becky (David's mom) went home back to Kansas on Monday. As the doctor visit went, His level was higher and we needed to go the following day to check to see if it would stable out or if we needed to start lamp treatment. So the following day his level had gone down a point. So this means he is going to be fine, although just to be sure we are going to check it again, on Friday. So Wednesday is Ezra's and I's first day home alone. We did laundry, and got caught up on all the photos, and publications, so everyone can know what he has been up too. Ezra James Rothe; The Birth Story

On Wednesday night about 6pm I was feeling really funny. I had been struggling with high blood pressure through out this pregnancy, so I was trying to rest. I wasn't real content with resting though. I phoned David letting him know that I felt like my blood pressure was really high, and wasn't sure what to do. He was at school, so it wasn't like he could really do anything to help.
I panicked so I pulled Quentin out of bed and went to King Soopers to check my blood pressure. Sure enough it was 162/92. I was not doing well, The pharmacist had me rest for five minutes and she checked it again. It went down to 148/90. I called the Doctor, and she told me that I need to come in to Rose and get some test run, to see where my Pre-Eclampsia was. We arrived some time around 9pm, I got checked in and settled. All the test were preformed, and the Doctor was notified of all the results. With all the information it was clear that my condition was only going to get worse, so we chose to induce my labor.
We started with softening the cervix. This is really all that I needed, cause my labor was officially started by 6:30 am the following morning. Only 10% of women who get this procedure actually go into labor, they usually need pitocin to really get it going. I worked through each contraction on my own, but for some reason Ezra was not progressing towards the birth canal, I was working hard but nothing was happening, so once I reached 4 cm and 50% effacement I got the epidural to allow the nurse to up my pitocin dose, I went from 4-7 cm and 70% effaced in 45 minutes. I was ready to push by 2:50 and he was born at 2:59.

I want to have this baby. I went into the doctors office on Friday for two reasons, One I was concerned about my blood pressure, and second I though my water broke at work. FALSE ALARM!!! I was however sent to the hospital for tests. I have been diagnosed with hypertension. Bed rest is what I need, but its more like bed arrest for me. I am so anxious I can't take it. We have a follow up appointment today hopefully I will be released and able to work for the next two weeks. If not baby needs to come out today! ( Because mommy said so)

David works for a great company! They were so generous and threw a baby shower for us. We had Italian food for lunch and a lot of cake and cheese cake. We played games one was "name that baby". We were to name the baby with the appropreate grown animal. We played a memory game and then trough out the shower we played the traditional "Don't say the B word". There was a moment durring the shower that will be forever remembered.
David had made a comment to his co-workers. For every gift given to the baby David wanted one too. For one of the gifts we got a Father Son Twin Set. This included a package of newborn diapers, along with adult diapers, a blue onesie for baby and a blue onesie for daddy!!! She had made it specially for him. To top it off they wanted him to wear this through out the shower. It was a great time and full of fun and laughs.

What was I doing 10 Years ago? I was 17; getting ready to graduate high school. I was a matmaid for the Wild Cat wrestlers at Arvada West High School. I was involved in four different choirs that year. I was a choir geek. I loved every minute of it. I don't remember much else that happened that year I hated high school, so I think I might have blocked most of it out . :)
Snacks I Enjoy: I am 9 months pregnant, I will enjoy any food and call it a snack. I had two double cheese burgers yesturday for a snack. I had two Newman- O's (hint-o-mint) yesterday for desert. (FYI We are eleminating high fuctose corn suryp from our diets, so it is hard to find tasty snacks.)
Five Things On My To- do List:
1. Not have a baby.
2. Make my bed
3. Organize my office
4. Clean my kitchen
5. Make some cookies
Things I Would Do If I Became A Billionaire: First I will have to pay off all debt! I have a dream to feed the homeless. This is one of the most rewarding things I have ever experianced. Some day I dream to have a kitchen pantry that will enable me to make meals for the homeless and either serve them or donate them to families in need. Kind of like supper solutions, but for free. I would donate a large some of money to my church that would help fund our build to minister program. We are in desprete need of a building in the south metro area, for our congregation to meet on a regular basses. I would put my children through collage.
Three Bad Habits:
1. Interupting people when they are talking (When I can relate to a conversation I have an urge to jump in and chime my two cents)
2. Telling people I'll call and don't follow through with it. ( or stating I will do something and not follow through with it.)
3. Leaving dishes out when I am done with them, istead of putting them in the dishwasher right away or throwing out empty water bottles.

Nesting is what I have been up to. Getting ready for baby has unleashed a monster in this house. With the future hopes of moving. I had talked to a former co- worker who is now "Staging" homes for a living. She had given me some ideas that would make our home more appealing to future buyers. Also I have been eager to purge unnecessary bulk in the house; so along with packing, sorting, I have been painting and lightly remodeling rooms. Here are some pictures of my work.
